Dr. Jessie Dickens

Dr. Jessie Dickens is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon in Midland, TX serving the entire Permian Basin & West Texas region. He treats a variety of orthopedic conditions including joint replacement, minimally invasive shoulder and knee surgery, hip arthroscopy, rotator cuff repairs, ligament repairs, and general orthopedics.

Dr. Dickens is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed an orthopedic sports fellowship at Lake Tahoe Sports Medicine in Zephyr Cove, NV. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Dickens earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from UT Southwestern.

His background in engineering along with his training at one of the premier sports medicine fellowships in the country makes him uniquely qualified to treat all aspects of knee, hip, and shoulder problems in athletes and non-athletes of all ages. Dr. Dickens has worked with numerous athletes including the Texas Tech University Football Team and USA Ski Team. Currently he enjoys serving as Team Doctor for the Midland Lee Rebels and Trinity Chargers.

Dr. Dickens is a partner of West Texas Orthopedics and has admitting privileges at Midland Memorial Hospital.
