Dr. Bradley Drystad

Dr. Bradley Drystad is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon in Odessa, TX serving the entire Permian Basin & West Texas region. Dr. Bradley W. Dyrstad specializes in sports medicine and focuses on tendon and ligament injuries of the knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder. These injuries include tears of the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, medial and lateral collateral ligaments about the knee. Shoulder injuries include rotator cuff tear, labral tears (from dislocated shoulder), and biceps tendon irritation and tears.

Dr. Dyrstad performs acute fracture care and manages osteoarthritis of the knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow including replacement or fusion of these joints as appropriate. He also performs arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle.

Dr. Dyrstad is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopeadic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University, and remained at SIU to complete his orthopedic residency. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he provided care for the Cincinnati Reds and Wilmington College athletes.

Dr. Dyrstad is a partner of Basin Orthopedic Surgical Specialists. He is NAVIO certified for computer-assisted partial knee replacement, and has admitting privileges at Odessa Regional Medical Center and Medical Center Hospital.
